This 2-day teacher workshop explores creative ways to connect students to their communities through historical inquiry. We will model how to investigate history in cemeteries, create architectural scavenger hunts, connect historical maps to the present day community, and develop strong inquiry questions. All activities will connect to the C3 inquiry model and include scaffolded worksheets for supporting students.
We’ll also learn some games, have fun with artifacts, and make butter!
